How to Reach Us

Our hotels are located on Zanzibar's South East Coast, between Paje, Dongwe and Pingwe. Travel time from Zanzibar International Airport or Stone Town is usually around one hour by car, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Guests arriving from mainland Tanzania can reach Zanzibar by domestic flight from Dar es Salaam or by ferry to Zanzibar port. From there, private transfers can be arranged directly with our hotel team.

For direct bookings through our official website, complimentary transfers may be available depending on the length of stay and the selected offer conditions. Please share your flight or ferry details in advance so we can help organise your arrival smoothly.

Time zone: Zanzibar follows East Africa Time, GMT+3.
Electricity: 220-240 volts. UK-style three-pin plugs are commonly used, so an adapter may be useful.
Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available in the main guest areas and rooms, although connection speed may vary according to local network conditions.
Airport: Zanzibar's main airport is Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, with domestic, regional and selected international connections. Flight routes and airlines may vary seasonally, so guests are advised to check the latest schedules before travelling.

Weather & Climate

Zanzibar is warm throughout the year, with tropical temperatures and sea breezes that often make the coast pleasant even during the hotter months. On the East and South East Coast, tides, wind and monsoon patterns are part of the island's natural rhythm and shape the beach experience throughout the day.

The Kaskazi season, usually associated with the north-eastern monsoon, brings warmer weather and ocean breezes. The Kusi season, linked to the south-eastern monsoon, can bring stronger winds and cooler sea air. Short rains may occur around November, while the longer rainy season is usually between April and May.

For guests staying in Paje, Dongwe and Pingwe, the changing tides are part of Zanzibar's beauty: at low tide the reef and sandbanks appear, while at high tide the ocean returns close to the beach, creating a completely different view of the same coastline.
